For Austria the ÖNorm Z 1259 standard is valid. It differs from the German BGR 191 standard only in two aspects: 1. According to EN ISO 20345, the shoes must comply with the highest slip resistance category SRC. 2. ¾ insocks are not allowed.

All Baak certified orthopedic insocks are normal insocks. Thus, the category “slip resistance SRC” is the only distinctive feature for the Austrian market. Most of the Baak safety shoes comply with this highest anti-slip category. You can find the styles which fulfill these Austrian standard requirements in the Baak - BGR191 - overview.
